The problem is that OpenSuse tacks on appendages to their running kernel that do not match the kernel source
that is installed. (All the kernels are from the same source, with minor customizations for desktops, servers, etc).
So you always run into this with OpenSuse when a new release comes out and it doesn't get fixed until the next
Vmware release comes along.

Make sure you have the kernel headers (at a minimum) installed. Won't hurt to have all the kernel source installed.
You will need minor adjustments to what it printed in that message above, (You have a slightly later kernel).
So just adjust the steps after the sentence that reads "So Please Do This".
And save a copy of that message somewhere for future reference.
