It's really just a text file.
But I think we're not going to need it, after all - I'm pretty sure that "PCI Universal Serial Bus" unknown device is the EHCI controller.
Go into the VM Settings, select the USB Controller, and set "USB compatibility" to "USB 1.1"
It may require a reboot before it works properly.
